Anyone know a good way to stop a toothache, particularly if it's happens suddenly?
Make a thread about it.
Oh, you did. Didn't help? Too bad.

Find morphine.
I had a severely infected wisdom tooth once, the infection moved into my cheek and the inside (of my cheek) swelled up so much it was covering a good portion of the back of that side of my jaw. Every time I even tried to talk I'd end up biting on badly infected cheek flesh (don't even get me started on eating). This lasted about 2 weeks before I could get into a dentist (had to wait for my benefits from work to start).
This point of this entire story is this.
Take Morg's advice, I used the Ora-gel (liquid!!) and it helped A LOT!!! (though near the end I was going through it pretty quickly.
Use the liquid though, I found the gel to not work quite as well.

Thats what I used back when I had a horrible toothache and it kept me from seeing, cause the pain was so much.Anbesol works ok, and you can just go buy it at most convenience stores.
Yeah, after awhile the pain didn't get to me as much as it did before.Did it alleviate the pain for you?
