Hey everybody. Below I've listed the email address for Top Cow, and a copy of an email I sent to them that explains what's gotten me ticked off. I encourage you to take 60 seconds and email them yourselves.
To: Top Cow representative
I just found out that you've cancelled plans to do the Velocity series, despite the fact that both the writer and artist who had done the Pilot season issue were in the midst of working on second or third issue of the series, and I'm offended. A lot of people bought that "pilot series" issue and voted believing that you're company would keep its word and go through with its promise to produce the series based on our votes.
And to top it off, so far as I can tell your company has been hoping people will just forget about it because you've avoided announcing the cancellation, which is deceitful and cowardly. You should be ashamed and you no longer deserve my business. You owe me, and a whole lot of other comic fans who thought you'd actually take our votes and opinions seriously, an apology, not to mention that you should correct this situation as well by going through with what you promised to do.
They got millions of people to vote, based on the promise that they'd then do a series. Now they're not following through and I'm ticked.
