TPB question #2

Thanks for the help with that Batman TPB thread, guys.

I recently finished reading New Frontier and I loved it so much that I now want to read some comics with The Flash, GL, JLA, and Martian Manhunter. But the problem is that I don't want to get single-issue comics, just TPBs. Does DC collect these comics fairly regularly? It would be a real shame if the only way to keep up with these stories is by buying monthly comics. Not everyone can afford to do so.

If you guys have any recommendations, by all means. :D

Yes, the Flash had great run awhile back. All collected in trades. As for JLA, Morrison's run was great, back when Zauriel a member. All Morrison's trades are collected, labeled in order, so it shouldn't be hard to find 'em..

And about Flash, there was a couple of great Flash trades as I was talking about, I don't know all of them, or what order they go in, so just wait untill the more hardcore readers show up.

This is the cover to the first Issue by Howard Porter, who is superb artist, BTW.

If I wanted to get into Green Lantern, what TPBs would you guys suggest I get? Amazon lists about four since 2004.

Damnit,I want to read New Frontier now,but I'm still on Astro City.

you won't find many good Martian Manhunter trades, unfortunately, but there are DOZENS featuring the Justice League

seriously, just put in the name of any character you like here and you'll see all the trades available featuring them: www.amazon.com

As Elijya mentioned, the chances of finding any Martian Manhunter trades are pretty slim. But if you ever manage to find the Martian Manhunter: American Secrets prestige format mini by Gerard Jones and Eduardo Barretto, you're in for a good story on the character. It's a lost masterpiece.

Also, the Ostrander/Mandrake series. The issues should be relatively easy to find.
