Age of Extinction Transformers 4 is going to be AWESOME.

I am hoping this one is better than the last 2 movies. I have liked all 3 so far but only the 1st one is considered great by me still even to this day. This at least looks a little darker than the last 2 and if Bay can get this closer to the quality of the 1st movie I think it will be good.

I think he looks awesome. The mouth and horns do come off more Dragon like then a T-Rex but otherwise it's all there.

Saw a crew hoodie with art of Grimlocks bot form on TFW. Looks like a huge barbarian bot with a giant mace in one hand and some other staff/mace weapon in another. Looked pretty sick if that's the design they are going with.

If that's his design, I really dig it. Very Escaflowne-esque.

You know, given people's reception with the Transformers movies, especially 2 and 3 causing many people to wish for a reboot, how about we take a page from the X-Men and do a Beast Wars movie and the time travel and butterfly effects change history retconning stuff we don't like(much like how Bryan Singer wants to use X-Men: DOFP to retcon the bad X-Men movies)?

Is this a guess or do you know something? I would much prefer Thunderwing personally, wish we could get a movie based on the Stormbreaker TPB with him in, that would be awesome.

He might not speak at all. Other than Optimus Prime, few of the Cybertronians have much in the way of discernible dialogue in the films.

I'm actually really pumped for this one. I can't say the same for the last two, even though I did enjoy Dark of the Moon.

Just watching the trailer and seeing the "darker" image they're going for excites me. Shia was getting old as the main character, and I don't mean age wise. But Wahlberg has been impressing me with each one of his movies that has been coming out the past few years, and I can't wait to see him in this. I'm all for it and can't wait to see a few more trailers. Honestly, I think this one might just give the series a huge boost.

Nah just guessing based on who's been the leader of the Decepticon's at one point or another.

X films don't do that well financially well. They sure as hell don't do this well.
The thing about the Xfilms is that(let's use origins for example), they make films that can be hated by 'everyone'. The TF films have a huge GA following. The keep making more and more money and started from scratch. This type of scenario really hasn't ever been seen. IM franchise maybe...

Its a real shame that only the dinobot toys could combine. It wouldn't have been far fetched if they did have them combine on the G1 cartoon. The Decepticons/Predacons/Insecticons each had multiple combiner bots in the G1cartoon while the Autobots only had a few good ones.

From the looks of it they turned Grimlock into Genghis Khan or some other Chinese barbarian, so if he does speak in robot mode he would probably sound like a primative Chinese warrior.

Totally agree with this, its why I think AOE may be the closest quality wise to the 1st TF movie we have had so far. I think the new cast and bots will freshen things up while still keeping some familiarity with the likes of Prime, Bumblebee and possibly Megatron.

The twitter feed for Bays site, SFTE, has tweeted that the first Teaser trailer is coming 'soon' and Nelson on the forum has started a thread for the teaser.

Theory is that it could drop by Saturday, which is the start of the New York toy fair... Which it is confirmed that a number of new toys will appear there.
