Who is the villain this time around?
Perhaps the less you know going in, the better. Whose to say what they will end up revealing come TV spot time. I think they finally got a great angle for human villains this time around.

There was some good shots in the trailer, but not having Optimus talk was a bit of a bummer.

The final shot is two very clear takes. I hope all the action is shot that way. The first slash lingers just long enough.

To me, this trailer seems more of the same we have gotten from the past films. I will check it out on home video.

I love the first one and think it's a really good action flick. If this is better than the first....:hubba.

Yeah, Peltz is very attractive. Weird how she was in The Last Airbender.
I like the first one. But I don't consider it all that great, but I definitely like it.

Oh, and Katara got hot. :funny:

Too late. :(

Meh, I'd actually prefer people know.
Like I was saying.

Optimus is a lot more streamlined.

Which means it will look amazing on a huge theater screen. A 50" home television isnt gonna do Grimlock justice.

This seems like the third's story with dinosaurs, so it'll be the first one I catch on Netflix.

I really dont think Bay rehashed the third film's plot for this soft reboot. Bay can be derivative, but he's not that lazy. I think there is a lot more to this film other than a city being destroyed.

Isn't Hong Kong going to be the place of destruction this time?

Seems that way. Itd be cool if the city destruction isnt the climax of the film. That would catch some off guard. Itd be fresh too.

"Go away, Autobots, we don't need you!" *alien warships blow up everything* "Autobots, please save us!"

I'd say the Autobots are the stand-ins for America and humans the international community, but let's be real here, even that's too complex for these movies.

This movie isn't going to do Grimlock justice. :p

I love this franchise. the second one was hard to stomach but even that one has parts that make the littel kid in me pumped up.

All the Transformer films have some pretty memorable scenes.

The forest fight in Revenge of the Fallen is still pretty damn sick to this day.

I like the way it's filmed(no more of that orangish Bay stuff) and the Transformers do look better, I also think Mark Wahlberg's character is going to be more enjoyable than Sam was.

Buuuut I'm still waiting to see what people think about the movie before checking it out myself. I won't be fooled again, damn it. I have to say that DOTM's trailer got me more excited, though. Despite that movie being meh.

I see people on Youtube griping about Optimus punching Grimlock saying he's a good guy, but if you know anything about canon, both from the cartoons and comics, you understand why they come to blows at their first meeting.

The footage in the trailer is visually spectacular but that is to be expected, what I really liked though was the tone, Wahlberg's character seems an ideal everyman hero to team with the Autobots.

It's also cool to see that guy who is Bosch and has played a dick in most procedural shows getting a role here. :D
