Cel-shaded brawler Transformers: Devastation leaked
Published 1 min ago. 0 comments.

New game set to be announced at E3.

Activision is working on a new cel-shaded Transformers brawler called Transformers: Devastation set to be announced at E3 next week, Pure Xbox has leaked.
The game is Xbox 360-bound, according to the report, and presumably Xbox One-bound, as well. That said, the leak comes from an Xbox-only website, so a multiplatform release is likely planned.
The website speculates whether this is the new Platinum Games title set to be announced at E3. Activision previously worked with the Bayonetta developer on its downloadable The Legend of Korra game.

Great use of cel-shading,I liked War for Cyberton and the 2nd one was meh but this may be a whole different game and so we shall see

I wish there were more cb games out, so that cel shading like this could be fully utilized.

At first, I was kind of disappointed, since I really didn't expect that. But then I thought about it. A full retail Transformers brawler game, based primarily around the classic G1 models, developed by Platinum games.

I think I can dig it.

oh and the fact that Cullen and Welker are in it as Prime and Megs along with some other G1 cast members (Bumblebee's voice will be played by the actor who played him in the 80s toon too) is 100% :awesome:.

I hope Mirage and Sunstreaker are in this. They're my favorite G1 TF's.

They need to come out with a full blown G1 animated series, like they did with He-Man and Scooby Doo. I know some of the designs are dated, i.e Soundwave as a tape recorder, etc but still….

I love Platinum Games, the other TF games sucked to me. Clunky melee combat, the aiming and shooting was randomly crapstastic chaos like Call of Duty. And the graphics were okay.

You're basically playing an interactive version of the original cartoon.

love the fact that this is based on the original animated series from the 80s

Those gifs alone are cooler than anything Michael Bay has given us

Everything about this game sounds great, only thing I am not a fan of, is the fact that it's so brawler focused. The combat just looks way over the top for me. I really would have preferred it, if they had based this on Vanquish instead.

I wish we can play as Decepticons in this game.
