Hello mr. Procter!
I am very star struck and honored to communicate with you as you are an amazingly gifted artist. I recently (today) went to your Transformers portfolio and was amazed by these beautiful images! I loved the film and so far i have seen it 4 times. I plan on going at least two more times. That's the first time i have seen a movie so often at the theater! I fell in love with these movie designs, they are simple amazing pieces of design and modern art perfected by you.
I was wondering, since there is sadly no "Art Of" book for this Transformers movie, you seem to be the only person, online at least, to have some of the concepts and artwork. My question is, would you be able to post more on your website? Designs such as Ratchet (Hummer), Ironhide, Jazz and some of the other decepticons. I really wish they would release a book with all the behind the scenes/production art from the movie. They also showed some of these designs you have on your site and other at the Hasbro tour for the TF media. If you want to see a perfect example of such a book you can look up "Spider-Man: Behind The Mask" which is a very rich, content filled and great behind the scenes book about the first Spider-Man movie! Many other films, adaptations/comic book movies and normal films have such books as well. I think if you guys were to release one, it should be in the same type. I bought TF The Movie Guide, but that's not even close to being an art of book sadly. The only way us the fans of TF (specialy the movie) have to see the artwork and the talent that went into making these amazing 30 feet tall robots come to life is through the internet for now. I know the request should probably be sent to IDW or Paramount, but i figured this would be more direct. I hope you don't mind me contacting you about this and appologize for taking some of your time. It would be amazing if we could see some more amazing Autobots artwork, but that is if it's possible. The fanbase would certainly be very appreciative and interested in seeing more as much as i do. I took the liberty to write this message on behalf of the fanbase, most of us are over on the forums of Superherohype.com, tfw2005.com, seibertron.com and many many other places.
I really want to thank you again for being such a talented and gifted artist! I'm glad you were the one to bring these characters into the world of the silver screen.
Again, thank you for your time! I wish you much continued success and i hope to hear from you!
Sincerly,
Bobby T.
