Well, everyone is entitled to opinions, but personally I've like the G1 models a lot more then I ever like the Bayformers or whatever. Especially the Decepticons. I don't think there's a problem with people wanting those skins as opposed to movie ones, it's not like they're going to stop movie inspired skins all together or something and it's not like anyone is having either forced on them

I'm fine with a few G1 skins.. as long as they're not trying to make this a G1 game.

I feel that if they're going to make 3/10 G1 Skins... thats fine. But instead of seeing the same characters remade a million times... make newer characters.

As stated... this IS a movie based game. There are G1 video games out there... but not for the next gen system.

But on the fans defense... i see why this is their last hope. Transformers has not been a great selling game in the past... untill the movies... and even still, have not sold to great, and i think ROTF has a bad shadow to blame for it

I don't know if as much that it's a 'last hope', but it's just a lot of people like them, and some people prefer them to the Bay movies. It shouldn't really matter that much that this is based off a movie, that doesn't mean it has to be pigeon held to just that version of a pretty rich franchise. It's not like the inclusion of G1 skins is suddenly going to morph the fact that this based off the movie, or change anything about except for skins on characters.

Like I said, no one is being forced to accept anything. Nothing wrong with referencing the past that got you were you are

I thought that Transformers: Energon game that came out a few years ago was great. Probably better than the both movie games.

Actually, it was based on Transformers Armada. Still a pretty good game.

When i said "last hope" i was rephrasing something someone else here said, when they said, "They've been demanding for years for a good G1 game. This is as close as we'll get."

And i wasnt arguing that they shouldn't make ANY G1 skins... i'll repeat... i'm fine with a few G1 skins... Its a personal feeling. I'm not the last guy they have to go through before releasing the DLC to the public, so rest assured lol.

BUT i feel that i'd rather see more characters then all G1 remakes... i would like to beable to play and see the feild spread with movie characters... i enjoyed the movies more. So, in a sense, i'd like to relive the movies or go beyond the movies.

I'm both sides here... I enjoyed the show.. had the toys... loved the movies. But i honestly dont care for G1 skins. But i'm not here *****ing that it doesn't make sense why theres G1 skins... because i know it will help sell DLC... However, i would not spead money on a G1 skin only pack. Well, you're entitled to your opinions about G1 skins, I was mostly arguing against the notion that just because this based on the movie for some reason only movie inspired characters/skins should be included or in someway maximized in priority. Transformers is a pretty long running series with plenty of great designs for them to use. There's really no reason not to utilize that history just because of the name on the box. Like I said, adding skins isn't going to change the fact that this is based off Revenge Of The Fallen, no matter how much I'm sure it may yearn to do so

Well, my dislike goes further than just not using them, i dont want to see those lame things running around in MP. But nothing i can do about that.

Haha i doubt it. Its not that big of a deal. I mean i really hate those skins, but as long as there are ample Bayformers in the DLC packs, ill be fine.

Obviously i wont buy them if i ALREADY stated that. And for you to qoute me, you had to have read either parts.

WHen i say i'm on either side because I'M A FAN OF BOTH... you're still arguing with me for G1 skins... so i see where the problem lies... You have to realize, this IS NOT a G1 game... so stop with your fantasy of this being a G1 game. If they stated there will be a G1 ONLY pack, then let your nuts go wild... but they didnt, so understand this. There will be BAYFORMER Downloads because this IS a Bayformer game. The G1 skins are the bonus. So do NOT get your hopes up for a G1 battlefield.

As a G1 fan, I have to agree. And yes, ROTF is based on the movie, but that doesn't mean we can't have G1 skins in the multiplayer mode. G1 is, and always will be, the Transformers that all other TF series derived from; even Bayformers have to respect G1 canon, despite the fact that Michael Bay took alot of liberty from the source material.

You do realize that outside the our 80's boy group, no one cared for a Transformers movie when it was annouced... dont you? Everyone thought it would have sucked...

Bay made the Transformers huge once again... so give him some credit. No one can honestly say that ALL the characters would have looked cool in the movie in their G1 appearences.

Even i can honestly say that Megatron, would NOT have looked scary.

And i think the fact that they're aliens from another planet, plays into the fact he doesnt look so humanized.

Transformers were degined as a toy. Then came along the idea for the cartoon show. You have to realize, those G1 characters wouldn't work in a live action movie, intended for adults.

If you dont like it, then just rewatch G1 over and over... or watch the new animated series... and grow out of the 80's

Love comic-based stuff, like the classic Wolverine skin in X-Men Origins. The difference there is that, that skin looks pretty cool, the G1 models look really dumb compared to what we have now.

Im pretty sure a lot of you dont truly like the G1 look, i just think its a nostalgia thing ya got going on.

Nope, just because some of us prefer something older like G1 models and Beast Wars models doesn't automatically make it nostalgia. It's really not that hard to believe that some of us prefer the G1 models even if they may look "lame" to you.
