I think a lot of the human characters returning are going to be cameos at best. Tyrese only filmed for a couple of days... Tucci wasn't spotted on set at all.

I did even though I thought it was Optimus at first. It actually intrigues me more that it's Megatron.

You make a good point... though I'd really hope not.

The trailer looks okay, but I was going to see it anyway because of Grimlock's back, they're bringing in Hot Rod and now possibly Unicron. I wasn't fond of Revenge of the Fallen and I didn't like Age of Extinction much, but for some goddamn reason I keep coming back to this franchise. Maybe the odd-numbered Transformers movies are better, so I'll keep a little optimism.

What did Prime do in the previous films that was so bad? I don't recall him doing anything bad.

The execution of a beaten and defenseless Demolisher in Revenge always rubbed me the wrong way. G1 Optimus Prime would've never done that.

It's a new incarnation, I get that. He's noble, but I suspect he also has this mindset of, "I've fought these guys for centuries, and every time I've let one of them go it was never good."
