Caught this back when it was in theaters. 10/10 for me on the originality of the concept, but unfortunately 7/10 on the execution.
It was one of those movies that needed a "smarter" director to pull off the subtext that he was clearly aiming for, but ultimately failed to land. I did find it to be very entertaining overall, but it didn't quite find the right tone that it should have had, to accurately convey the class subtext that it clearly wanted to. It sort of came across as more comedic than the director probably intended, especially for an American audience. And it was definitely funny at points, but it didn't have the depth that it should have had.
