seriously though satan's alley would be epic. I would go see it till they told me to leave. When Tobey started stroking his beads I lost it.
LOL. Just as an FYI, you never actually see them do it. It's just heavily, heavily alluded to. There's weird tension throughout the movie when they're together and it's sort of a morning-after thing. :woot:

It's an amazing movie in general, though. Check it out for sure.

I like how they show kirk lazarus with 6 Academy awards and all Tobey has is an MTV movie award win for best kiss.....

haha i'll definitely check it out. I've heard it's a great movie.

one of my favorite scenes is when the guys are trying to rescue Stiller and he still isn't right in the head.....Sandusky's like "**** it, close enough, we'll deal with it later......

also the exchanges with Cruise and McConaghey were fantastic

did anyone else notice the "chaplin" reference when stiller cleans himself after the simple jack show?

i can't believe tom cruise was actually funny.

way to go, guy,... way to go.

I saw the original cut of the movie...well a previous cut back in March.

SPOILER:

Matthew McConehey's character was suppose to die in the jungle. In the final cut, he survived with that new scene during the credits. Actually, I'm happy that his character (originally Owen Wilson's role before his attempted suicide) survived.

Also, Ben Stiller gave out a speech during the Oscars that was cut, and there was a party scene that was cut out too.

SPOILER END

How does the agent die in the original cut?

This was HILARIOUS! Alpa-Chino! :hehe:

But RDJ was also brilliant-

"Pump da breaks. You just crossed the line" :lmao:

Out of all the controversy surrounding this film walking in i expected to be shocked to the tenth power, but the only thing that shocked...but impressed me is how great Ben Stiller put together the action sequences in Tropic Thunder.I mean the helicopter flip and crash was fantastic.Ok on to the comedy core of this film within a film.Robert Downey jr steals the show with ease. Also a very funny cameo by Tom Cruise as a hairy, hip hop loving studio honcho. Not that the rest of the cast doesnt have there moments.Brandon T. Jackson and Jack Black have their moments.A lot of Hollywood injokes and sight gags also added to the film.
All of the jokes dont work and some moments were dull to sit through but in the end i truly had a good time with this film.Comedy is risky and im glad to see so many people were willing to take risks to make this funny film.
Scale of 1-10 an 8
p.s Booty Sweat energy drink hits stores in September ....Im not kidding

I give this film a solid 9. It was definately of the funniest movies Ive seen in a long time. RDJ, Jack Black, and Ben Stiller were hysterical. My favorite part of the whole movie when

[SPOILER

JB was tied up to the tree and said, "I will literally suck your **** if you untie me." I was dying when he said his whole speech. I was hitting the chair in front of me, crying, having a stomach ache and nearly fell on the ground I was laughing so hard. :lmao:

[/SPOILER]

The makers of those ______ movies should watch this, this is how you make a spoof movie. Thought it was hilarious.

It's more of a spoof movie than those turds passing as films will ever be...

Nolte's character
made it out with the cast on the helicopter but i was expecting him to go out a matyr

Matthew's character
He is seen in a montage at the end on a private jet - g5 maybe - he is drinking wine with woman but looks like he's been to war

I saw this film tonight and I died on that part. That line just hit me out of nowhere because I was expecting him to snap out of it.

I also lost it
when Stiller was getting stabbed in the back of the neck by the kid
and Jack Black's dialogue when tied to the tree. Everything Downey Jr. did was gold as well as Tom Cruise.
