How much would this film have to make to show a profit? The budget is around $92 Million I read. What amount has to go out to Theaters and such?

I'm hoping this film keeps it up as I really enjoyed it....
Oh, it will, man. I see this film making $75M domestically in 5 weeks time, $50M overseas in the same 5 weeks. Overall, I see this film ending up making $100-110M domestically, and a worldwide total of $200-250M. Pretty damn good for a comedy.

It's awesome it's still at the top. I'm probably going to see it again sometime this week... I saw Pineapple Express this weekend, but I kinda wish I'd gone to see TT again, as I vastly prefer it.

In the meantime... watch this if you haven't: http://www.rainofmadness.com/?p=40

It's the full-length mockumentary (remember the Rain of Madness trailer that came out a while back?) and it is full of WIN. Steve Coogan is great in it, but the highlight for me is getting to see more of Robert Downey Jr., who is just as awesome in this as in the movie itself. You can get it free, which is a big plus, and it's kind of like a DVD extra or something. Like a big package of deleted scenes. Plus commentary. All rolled into one. :woot:

This movie was great. I wasn't really interested in it, but a friend dragged me to it, saying it was friggin sweet. Great movie. 8/10

This movie was full of lulz. Particularly from RDJ, but the whole damn cast was awesome.

RDJ and Cruise just stole this movie for me I couldnt stop laughing anytime either of them were on screen

The movie's become a good late summer success story. Everyone suddenly likes Tom Cruise again. EW called it an image-salvaging role.

The movie's doing very well and been #1 for 3 weeks. No other movie this summer besides Dark Knight was able to do that.

Can't wait for the DVD.

Screw DVD, this movie is gonna be a Blu-Ray for me. :word:

Yeah, I believe my exact words when asked to go see this were; "I dunno, I'm tired of Ben Stiller and Tom Cruise. Can't stand them."

And neither let me down. Some of the things that came out of Cruise's mouth almost knocked me out of my seat. :funny:

Well this movie really is the first Stiller movie that he directed that was actually funny. Zoolander was mildly amusing but overall disappointing. Same with Cable Guy.

I've got a soft spot for Zoolander, it's just so ridiculously surreal that I laugh out loud every time I see it.

GASOLINE FIGHT!

Any one of us could die in a freak gasoline fight accident.

Zoolander is amazing. Cable Guy had its moments too, namely Stillers description of the killers. "He looked kinda ASIAN. He had some kind of accent, I think it was ASIAN..."

this movie m-m-m-made me laugh out loud. great performance from rdj. i give this a 9/10

I saw the movie last night I give 7/10. It's my second favourite comedy of the year behind Pineapple Express.

Just saw this. Very funny, very good. Loved all the war movie references they managed to get in there.
RDJ was brilliant.

"Never go full ******."

GASOLINE FIGHT!

:woot: Yeah! When I first saw this I said, "Crap, some $^&# is gonna go down." And I was right. :woot:

Other great moments-

1. "What is this?! A center for ants?! How are we suppose to teach children if they can't even fit in the building?!
2. "Mer-man."
3. "Is there anything else in life than being really, really, really, ridiculously, really good looking?"
4. Zoolander the only one wearing white at the funeral.
5. "But why male models?"
6. "Alright. But what about male models?"

:pal::lmao:

Stiller was acting as always. RDJ was amazing. and tom cruise was also a big suprise. very funny. he needs a new comedy.
the humor was very good and thank god it was R.

I bought a can of booty sweat at the mall. Easily in the top five of the most distgusting things I've tasted.
