With my family lol. I'm just not breaking my diet for TG. I'm saving my cheat day for the weekend as usual

You're a braver man then me. I can't get started on my diet. I have the training, I know what to do...But my mom, sister and uncle are fat. And that's who I live with.

So it's like "I only want to drink water and fruit juice. I will only eat fish, fruit, vegetables and rice..." *The fridge is filled with hot dogs, lunch meat, chicken nuggets, soda, juice from concentrate, sodium, carbs, sugar*

And I'm just left with a changed mind and a fulls tomach.

Thanksgiving ain't Thanksgiving without turkey for me. I don't eat ham (or anything pig related, thanks to Charlotte's Web's Wilbur) and I am not too big a fan of beef. Although, I must say that the roast beef in the first post looks MIGHTY good!

A.)What fixings? Lemme guess...you seem like a mashed potatoes and gravy guy...
B.) Red or white?

Well, mashed potatoes and gravy is a tradition for thanksgiving. But I also like stuffing and sweet potato casserole and all that good stuff.

As for wine, I prefer red wine, specifically Lambrusco. It doesn't cost all that much and it's really fantastic stuff.

*buzzer sound*

Sorry Timstuff but the answer we were looking for was eggnog for christmas. Eggnog.

D'oh. And preferably made with a nice burboun and served with whipped cream, I might add. :woot:

But seriously though, death to all the Ham-Thanksgiving families in America. My family was killed by ham, and now I seek retribution.

It's funny. Babe, Wilbur, Porky Pig and other characters are so annoying they MAKE me want pork. :P

Anyways, the trick to good beef meals is that you have to go for medium rare. If you cook it well, sometimes you can over-cook it. And if you go for rare, then you are eating beef sashimi. Also, you can never have enough garlic and onions when cooking a beef product.

Garlic
Onions
Parsley
Pepper
Brown Sugar

^ The key ingredients to make your beef amazing. Works with steak, meatloaf, roast beef, etc..

Dude. We share the same taste! Everything you mentioned. Perfect. I want some sweet potato casserole now. Lambrusco is good...I know you're not supposed to chase wine, but if you ever mix it with fruit punch it tastes like...like a new kind of fruit or something...it's the BEST.

Ham? On Thanksgiving? WTF?!? Who has ever heard of such nonsense...

Mixing wine with fruit juice...I have never thought of doing such a thing. I would think that would prove useful for those bitter red wines that I hate...lol.

Yes, at my job, we had a mini Thanksgiving lunch last week. Someone brought some home made sweet potato casserole and it was so good! Hadn't had it in a long time, I'm not even big on sweet potatoes but when it's in a casserole form it's good stuff.

I only like Wilbur, you can eat Porky and Babe. Especially Babe. Devour him first but leave Wilbur alone! He has to take care of Charlotte's babies. :( :oldrazz:

Rare? Ewww... I don't mind eating almost anything as long as it's cooked and that means, no blood on the plate! I am not a steak fan but when I do eat steak, it's got to be medium rare. Garlic and onions ... can't live without 'em. They're essential ingredients to most of my recipes.

Is that the recipe for that good-looking roast beef in the first post? If yes, I just might cook that on Thanksgiving.

That kind of doesn't make any sense. If you don't like anything rare wouldn't you want it well done? I don't like my meat rare either so I always say well done on steaks. That way, it's nice and brownish instead of blood red. lol.

I'll find the recipe for you....brb...While you're waiting, though, what types of foods do you normally cook?

Rare has blood dripping on the plate. Medium rare, it's red but not bleeding. I only drink human blood.

Well Medium rare is not bleeding. You should seriously try medium rare, it's better than well done. Because I hate when you spend like 30 bucks on some kind of beef or steak and the waiter comes back with some burnt rough thing...Also Medium Rare retains the size and flavor better. Well leaves things tasting the same.

Ham on Thanksgiving is a sin.
No joke, I think it might be. Are you Catholic? I'm Methodist....we're allowed to eat whatever. As long as you Thank God for it, you should be good to go.

OMG! Spider killer!!! How could you? They're soooo adorable. :(
I'll be sending a giant eight-legged freak in your dream tonight!

I love chicken! I can eat chicken every day. Chicken is the main reason I can't go vegetarian. I'd perish without chicken. I cooked Chicken Curry last night. I might make Meatloaf tonight.
