Turtle On A Plane!

Rebecca said the three were led onto the jetway and told they'd have to get rid of the baby red ear slider -- named Neytiri after the princess in the movie "Avatar" -- if they wanted to reboard.

I was on their side till I read that

I wonder if Samuel L. Jackson was on that plane. He probably saw the turtle and went on a rant about how they are worse than monkey fighting snakes on Monday to Friday planes.

Are you serious?! Everybody on that plane was delayed because of a f**king turtle!!!

Cheese & Crackers!!!

Wait, I don't get it. Even if the airline told them to throw it in the trash, why the **** would you do that? Take this turtle away from these people.

Well we all know how dangerous turtles...can...be. I guess

I'm also wondering if AirTran did tell them to throw the turtle away, but are saying they didn't to cover their butt. Maybe to keep the PETA ****es from coming after them.

As far as I'm concerned, it's irrelevant if they did. You don't throw a living thing in the trash.

Probably because they thought the turtle was a terrorist.

Anyway, I guess they didn't have time to drive multiple hours from Atlanta to Milwaukee and back.

A few years ago, I took a road trip to Iowa. It took 14 hours. Yes, I could have taken a flight to Iowa that would have lasted only a few hours, but there were things that we were allowed to take with us on the road that we could not if we went on a flight.

They took my freakin toothpaste when I flew to California last year :csad:

I honestly didn't even see that til now

I was being sarcastic. Reptile-caused salmonellosis is much, much rarer from food-borne salmonella, which is fairly common in airline food.

heroes on a half shell. turtle power is stronger than we thought it was.

I, For once agree with Peta on this. You don't put a living animal in the trash. The only thing more cruel is torture.

On another note, I once got bitten by a turtle.

But the airline didn't throw the turtle in the trash, the passengers did. Like I said, if the airline said to put a bullet in your puppy, would they have done that? I really have to question their story because the airline seemed to be pretty good about offering them a flight at a later time free of charge and everything. I think their story is ******** and they panicked so they threw it in the trash. And it's so easy to say "Oh the airline told me to do it!" And because everyone hates big companies that make millions of dollars everyone is like "Oh those bastards!"

"I'm tired of these motherf****** turtles on this motherf***** plane!"

:awesome:

I agree with this statement.

Agreed! I'd bet anything that within a month the family will sue for emotional distress.
