I don't think anyone knows enough about the situation to say what the guy deserved or didn't deserve. Considering he's still on the set now (doing reshoots) with the same DP I'd say things worked out, not to mention he keeps getting work over and over with the same casts and crews.

As someone who has cussed out a few people in my life, I'm not going to say anything about someone flinging around the F-word. They're just words.
