I wonder if you have leagal precident here? They let you go from one reason saying it was due to cost cutting, then look to replace the position? Sounds fishy to me.
I thought through this, and pondered calling corporate. However, let's consider best-case-scenario: Say I call, and they are like "teh crazy, we didn't know. We're going to call Jim and tell him he was wrong and get your job back."
Do I want the job?
For money - yes. But I hated EVERY SINGLE DAY. Way to immoral for me.
My goal is to finish school, and I feel like that job, and boss, would not be flexible for me.
Just makes my head spin. Why let someone go - whom can perform - to hire someone else - whom might not perform.
