Also, I've started reading Game of Thrones (roughly halfway through the first book). It's just not hooking me like I expected it to. Granted, I understood a hell of a lot more of what's going on than I did when I tried to watch the series (who puts just two episodes on a single DVD?). I think it's mostly because none of the characters are particularly likeable. Also, too many humans.
