Action-Adventure Twister Reboot ‘Twisters’ | Universal Pictures

"Glen was sitting behind me, my brother was next to me, and Tom was behind my brother. Tom just kept hitting me the whole entire movie," says Ramos. "After the third time I turned back around, like, 'Yo, Tom Cruise is bugging out right now!' He keeps hitting me."

"He keeps hitting me because he's excited about different moments, and he's laughing," the actor continues. "He’s just laughing out loud the whole entire film. He wasn't afraid to express himself. I was super grateful about that."

Dammit, I was trying not to fall in love with Daisy Edgar-Jones but this is pushing me over the edge.

Just got my tickets for Thursday. Didn't think I would be this excited for a sequel to Twister but it all has been looking like a fun summer blockbuster. I was also obsessed with the first movie when I was a kid but haven't seen it since then.

I don't know why I thought this movie was coming out after Deadpool and Wolverine and not before. Still, that's a solid opening. Will be interesting to see the two go at it next weekend. With good word of mouth, it could have some real....well, not legs, but maybe winds.

“I just wanted to make sure that with the movie, we don’t ever feel like it is putting forward any message,” Chung told CNN. “I just don’t feel like films are meant to be message-oriented.”
Or, at least, a reflection of studio caution during polarized times when looking for a summer movie hit.

It could work well as counter-programming for the older folks.

We'll see if audiences are more thirsty for Hugh or Glen.

Just saw this. Really enjoyed it. Chung was the right guy to do this because there were so many points in this script that most blockbuster directors would have overplayed and gone for max cheese, and he left them wonderfully understated. The cast was all just very likable.

Random note, wild to hear Superman utter the words I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE!!!! :hehe: He plays a disturbingly good a-hole.

This movie genuinely felt like it was made in another era, in a good way. Really hope it doesn't get utterly crushed by Deadpool next week.
