Madea himself was nearly in Wolverine!

After achieving crossover success, you'd think that Perry would have a stack full of offers to star in other studios' films, but that's hardly the case. Perry admits, "I have never been offered anything, really." He did discuss playing a supporting role in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," but couldn't make it work with his schedule. I asked Perry if he had a cameo in J.J. Abrams' reboot of "Star Trek," and he confirmed the role, which only took a week out of his busy schedule.

Tosha: Everyone is coming after you to work in your movies, but is anyone beating your door down to work in their movies?

Tyler: Sure, I got a couple offers. One I couldn’t do that I really wanted to do was Wolverine and I just finished Star Trek. That was pretty exciting. I’m getting some of those offers.

He'd probably be a better Wraith than what will probably end up getting with Will.I.Am if that was the role he was up for.

The only mutant character I could see him playing in the X-universe is Arlene Bishop. I seriously doubt he would be in a Wolverine solo storyline.

Yeah, Wraith seems like the most logical role he was up for.

Perry is an interesting phenomenon with the amount of multitasking he does.And despite bad reviews his movies are still able to make money at the box office.

I think it's because his movies aren't made with critics in mind. He usually has a certain message that he delivers to a certain audience.
