Tyrion Lannister: The God of T....hreads and Wine

I'm really curious to see where his character goes from here. In the books [blackout]he becomes kind of a huge dick for a good long while after he escapes Westeros. I feel like the show is going to tone that down a bit, since people love his character so much. They'll leave him as sarcastic and witty, but probably less of an "everyone can **** off and die" attitude.[/blackout]

Yeah. In the books [blackout]he swings between wanting to put Myrcella on the Iron Throne, raping Cersei, and/or killing Cersei and Jaime.[/blackout]

Yeah, his black humour is really hyped up in ADWD. D&D will definitely tone that down a bit to keep him likable but I hope they still keep some aspects of him a bitter little ****.

I wonder they'll even approach that dynamic. Tyrion had a lot of vitriolic thoughts towards Jaime in ADWD.

See I never got that vibe from him in the books, just that he was very sad.

Jorah won't kidnap Tyrion, instead Tyrion and Jorah will become bros and Jorah hopes to gain Daenarys' favor for bringing an important alliance, not captive to her.

Well, there's the obvious one of "God of T*ts and Wine - The Tyrion Lannister Thread", but you'll have to tell me if that'll fly, or if it's too vulgar. Also, change the Stannis one, too. Stannis isn't of the night. He's the light that fights off the night, since it's dark and full of terrors. Or, at least Melisandre says so. And who wouldn't trust her?

Yeah, every character page should have a quote as a title. Jon Snow's is already there, let's get the other one's cracking. Jaime's can be "<Hand chomp> "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH" <Hand wiggle>".

Funnies aside, having quotes as the titles of the threads is really the way to go with such characters. For Jaime, either "There are no men like me. There's only me" or "I think it passing odd that I am loved by one for a kindness I never did, and reviled by so many for my finest act" would work nicely, I feel. Although the second one might be a bit too long.

Yeah, it's definitely the "There are no men like me. There's only me." quote. It's the perfect one. The other one would be "The things I do for love."

Well by definition that'll change the way he thinks about Cersei too, because in ADWD he thinks (and says) often that he'd like to rape and murder her. I can't see him wanting to do that if he still has affection for Jaime.

Tyrion might be the best character of the lot when all is said and done. He's ahead of Jon at the moment for me.

After they killed off my first favorite character back in season one I was glad to see Tyrion escape.

Side note, if I had to imagine what his name meant, I would guess tywin's lion. For the ironies.
