    These two are not the coolest characters that started in the tourney, and this comes from a guy who LOVES them.

    Such a tough decision, both are my favorite in their own realm, (Hero/Villain). I think Im gonna go with the Joker, mainly because his options are endless, you never know what he is gonna do. He would murder a pregnant woman or blow up a hospital filled with sick children just for the hell of it.

    Such a great character.

    Hmm. This is tough. Batman has always been cool, and his world (20s yet futuristic NYC, even if it doesn't want to admit it) has always been one of my favorites. On the other hand... the Joker is a great villain. And listening to Mark Hamill's performances as him... they are simply brilliant. Ah heck. I go with Joker.

    I think the Joker's presence in Gotham makes the Batman a lot cooler. I wonder if Batman is the same without his #1 nemesis...

    But would Joker be as cool if he were, oh say, a Superman villain? I think that goes both ways.

    Funny you mention that. I like Bats a lot more when Joker's on the scene. Brings out stuff that magnifies his character, IMO.

    It's not really the battle that gets me, really. I love the mind games and the deep talks before they both turn sick on each other.

    Such a psychologically deep relationship.
