Steve Dillon on Ultimate Avengers 3??? I dunno, i mean, Steve Dillon is a fine artist but i wasnt expecting someone like him to do a book like this. I seem to remember Mark Millar saying he was going to be working with the "industry's absolute best artists!!!!!!" when he was hyping up his Ultimate Avengers series. The way he was hyping it up i was expecting artists of a Jim Lee caliber to appear on this project but Steve Dillon. Eh, not too enthusiastic about that.

I love how this DD is sporting the classic yellows. Also curious to see how they handle this new Blob. It'll be interesting if he is the old Blob's son considering that they already revealed in USM that Liz Allen is his daughter.

Nick Fury getting his old job back.. The conclusion of UA4 will be either Fury getting his dream, or failing and... Well i don't know what they would do to him if he gets busted. >_>

Millar did say UA3 is heavily connected to the 4th volume, this was when he was ranting how Heroic Age X-Men is ripping off his UA3, but that issue got resolved, but yeha friendly reminder: UA3 is about Avengers, New Daredevil & Blade fightning againts Vampires who are hunting down Mutants.

Something tells me we're gonna see Wolverine comeback as a Vampire, because we all know Millar loves Wolvie.

Man #2 was just AWESOME. 3 beatifully stunning splash pages where War Machine & Tynore Cash just steal the spotlight. I'm really enjoyning War Machine, because behind that egoistic soldier, he's still a very compassionate guy and really does care for his comrades. Tynore Cash to me seems like the ultimate.... Ultimate Hulk. Where Banner was a rapist, cannablist and childish monster. Tynore is in full control. He bangs women when he wants and gets them easily. He is the very same genius doctor he always was... Yeah he is the perfect Hulk.

Always loving the dialogue by Millar, especially the line by Fury at the end: "This isn't the Ultimates, Hawkeye. It's a Death-Squad. Low-Key is the name of the game"

The last splash page with Ghost Rider is really setting the mood. Having never read anything about Ghostie. I am intriqued!

Avengers 2 #3:
I loved every moment of this! From Hawkeye feeling sorry to Punisher... to him showing why he is such a total badass. I do wonder will we find out is Hawkeye also "Bullseye" of the Ultimate universe. I'd like that! Tyrone Cash truly is the Hulk-in-control, but he knows noone can beat him so he talks however he wants. Just like a Hulk would.

Spider-Man #11:
I hope Aunt May becomes the new principal lol. Tho i doubt she can, and yeah!!! Chameleon. Good humour as always, but yeah really wanna read and learn more about Chameleon for now.

Loving to receive an introduction to the Ghost Rider mythos. The art is stunning and the Airplane stunt was just AMAZING!

Not sure I like the idea of Hawkeye being a death row in mate. Hopefully it'll be that he was a soldier who was either framed or inadvertently responsible for the deaths of his unit, and ended up on death row. Fury comes in an offers him a new lease on life, his wife and kids never find out about it, and she just believes his time away on death row was his being off on a special forces mission or something

Yeah it keeps having that inner monologue stuff, it was abit less this time, but im really digging this! It's just a major bummer how bad the BI-monthlyness is for a title such a sthis, because barely anything is happening outside Karen and Jimmy recruiting new people, but it seems they very likely have some help... Unless this very is all Karen's doing!

I read it and liked it very much. I do have a weakness for winged characters so I do have a favorable bias, but the story was well told and I will continue to read this. I agree that it stinks this is bi-monthly. I hope that doesn't end up hurting the book by its coming out so slowly.

Ultimate X #3 has been pretty awesome, its the good ol' Loeb story telling where the character has his own little adventure going on. I just hope whenever it becomes a team book vs villains, it doesnt become a shock-festival. And yeah i'd rather see Cho and Adams doing Ultimate X together, and give Warren Ellis/Bendis Ultimates for good,with an artist who can do monthly work.
