Oh, almost forgot. Expect Harry Osborn, Thundra, Wizard, Klaw, Mesmero, Galactus, Hulk, Thing, Wolverine & others to appear in the show.
We saw Thundra and Klaw in the TV spot, and Hulk in the storyboards. Now, Galactus in a Spidey show? :wow: That ought to be cool.

With all the guest stars, I was kind of hoping for a show like Batman: The Brave and The Bold done in a Marvel Team Up sort of manner. Oh well, someday I guess.

I'm starting to not like the tone of the show, the fourth wall humor is a little bit too much. I was thinking that things like the toast thing would be a one time only type of deal...now I'm starting to think things like this will happen quite often. However, like I said before...the character designs are pretty though, that oughta get a lot of viewers, as that was the main problem people had with Spectacular Spider-Man (let's see if style wins over substance). I'm still wondering how much of Peter's civilian life we'll see though. Will he mainly be interacting with his superhero friends out of costume? We saw MJ; she has the benefit of living next door. I'm guessing Harry would show up as well. Will there be more people from Peter's side of his life.

Something feels a little too juvenile so far, I suppose it would be different if they weren't referencing Uncle Ben in that exact same scene...

Blasted link is not up sheesh. Kinda iffy on it, hope it does well

Great clip.

Stylistically it looks great and the humor is very much like that of Teen Titans seeing as they're breaking the 4th wall a good deal with captions breaking into the scene and Spidey making direct remarks to the audience. They're experimenting with Spidey in a different territory and I for one have liked everything I've seen.

Can't wait for this.

I was so excited about this show, and couldn't wait to get a first glimpse of what we have in store. But after watching this clip and the artwork for Luke cage, iron fist, and Nova, i am not excited anymore, AT ALL.

I hate when cartoons take an adult character and make turn him into a teenager. Nova is not a teen, Luke cage IS NOT a teen

and the comedy is getting on my nerves, and i was one who thought the toaster joke was kinda funny.

Drake bell also sounds annoying as spider-man. Just saying!

To sum my post all i have to say is this: I have a very bad feeling about this!

The clip basically shows that Nick Fury is gonna be the main character and spidey is gonna be his cameo side kick.

Saw a new commercial for Marvel Universe, had a brief snippet of Spidey riding a jetpack giving two thumbs up.

I don't really have any high hopes for this show anymore. That clip with Nick Fury was just.......not right.

I'll still check it out and give it a chance, but so far its not looking good.

When the tag "Ultimate Spider-Man" hit Spidey's head the tune that was there sounded like the one from TMNT 2k3

Why is Spidey breaking the fourth wall? That's not Bendis USM

It sounds exactly like the musical cues from Generator Rex, which Manthei also scored. I hope that the majority of the music here is more akin to his DC Universe work than the stuff from Generator Rex though. He can be awesome but I really don't like the music from Generator Rex.

If this does the teen titan thing with breaking the 4th wall, I will not mind AS LONG as they give me a good story.

i hated teen titans when it first came out and it grew on me IMMENSELY.

I totally agree with you.
I used to think that the series would have been based on Bendis' USM, but as we can see, it is not.

Yeah. Teen Titans had kiddie humour, but it also had good storylines. Although if I remember correctly, there was only like, one time when the show broke the fourth wall, when that character that reminds of Bat-Mite was on. Then again, I haven't watched that show or that episode in years, so I could be wrong.

Would anyone else like to see Spidey done in anime? I just think that quick, stylish art would really fit a character like him.

Maybe. With American writing and direction. Not to say there aren't good Japanese writers / directors... but I've seen the Marvel animes.

We've seen just about every other art style. Even CG. I didn't like the Spectacular Spider-man art style. Still don't really. But the show won me over with great writing and characterization.

I just want a good cartoon, so I don't really care about the animation style.

I'd like to see fast animation and a good design for the Spider. And, actually, I haven't seen these things so far.
