I WANT MORE UNDERWORLD!!!!! I speaking of I haven't bought Rise of the Lycans yet argh... What way could they go for a new movie?

I personally would prefer it if they did another prequel, but have Amelia as the awakened elder, maybe show a bit more Kraven. I don't know, I feel like the've closed the book on Selene and Michael at the end of U:E

Maybe they could make Frankenstein a part of the Underworld.

what??? no lol would be stupid ..

Got the DVD today, play.com always get it here fasted so watched it eariler, do like the film, and hope for another Underworld :) with Selene and Micheal in it :)

Really???? I don't see him fitting....not even a little bit

I just thought it might have been cool to see Frankenstein type creatures made from the dead bodies of Werewolves & Vampires. Like would they still have the attributes of both a werewolf & vampire, be able to change ect.

Now for a question about the dvd/blu-ray. Between chapters 7-8 is there a scene missing or something because on mine when Lucian is let out of his cell the picture fades to black for a couple of seconds & when the picture comes back he is in a different room.

The first one was so full of B.S. posturing, and feigning badassery. The Bulletts were the star of the film...BOOOOO

4/10

Evolution was the shirt! Especially the papa smurf flying sequences:wow:, and you knew once dude got out of his cage the crap was going to fly...plus hybrid man, wasn't the chick this time around...

8/10

The third was was damned good, 'Stan Lee' came back, as in Kevin Therouix (sp) Lots of Lycans, and any type of slave revolt story is going to pull you in. Screw Vampire loyalty! "I guess he made a key":hehe: Even Rhonda Mitra's gourgeous wooden ass was fairly plausible, I dug it, I'll buy it.

7/10

I thought Evolution was the best one as well, ROTL is close to it though.

No that happened in the theatrical version to. If I'm correct thats when Tannis pulls him out to meet Sonia??

I'm glad someone liked this film, because I thought it was a waste of time. It was cool seeing Lucian and Raze again, though I was hoping for a little more backstory on Raze, but Underworld 3 really didn't add anything to the story. Everything that happened in the film had been explained in the first two films. Plus we had already got a little taste of a prequel at the opening of Underworld 2. The ending with Selene was awkward and might have spoiled Underworld 1 for any new fans who wanted to check it out after watching Underworld 3. It didn't need to even be added.

I would rather they just recasted the Selene character with Rhona Mitra and did a continuation instead of a by the numbers prequel that didn't add anything new or create any twists to what we thought had happened before. I saw the film as a wasted opportunity. I thought about buying it last week, and I decided I just couldn't pay full price for it. Perhaps when it hits the bargain bin, for the sake of completing the trilogy, I'll get it then.

I enjoyed it simply because I loved Lucians Character and I love Viktor. So a whole movie about those two made me happy. Can't go wrong with Bill Nighy

Watched it last night for the first time on DVD and must say I absolutely loved it from beginning to end.

I watched the first 2 in theaters when they came out and wanted badly to see this one in theaters too but just never got the chance.

This movie is so well made for such an incredibly small budget.

Incredible and creative action sequences, passionate performances, amazing sets and costumes...just wow...loved it!

For a story concept we've all heard before, it still felt original and fresh.

It was great to see Lucian, Raze and Viktor again. I very much liked Sonja and it was good to see Tannis again too.

I was a bit disappointed that the Vampires didn't put much of a fight on at all at the end. It just looked like werewolves attacking knights and not vampires. Still looked amazing and, being more of a werewolf fan, I loved seeing the vamps get obliterated!

The sfx were pretty cool for most of the movie with minor weak spots here and there.

My only complaint is that at times it was hard to see through the gloomy blue hue. It is an extremely grainy movie. I hope it looks better on Blu-Ray because I am planning on buying it this week.

I gave it a 9 outta 10. I sincerely hope they continue with the franchise in some way, whether in theaters or tv series or even an animated series.

The Blu-Ray is extremely grainy also, which is a real shame for a movie that is so new.

Aww man! Really?! What a bummer. I still love the movie enough to buy it.
Thanks for the heads up though.

I feel the same about the movie. It was really really dark in spots, which bugged me, but I suppose if it was well lit the Lycans would look really really ******

yeah watching it at home on a smaller screen kinda sucks....it REALLY sucks watching it on a zune screen

The Blu-Ray is extremely grainy also, which is a real shame for a movie that is so new.

That was the texture grain they put into a film. Same with 300. It also helps masks digital scenes and color corrections.

I hope we get a bit more Marcus if the next movie is another prequel, I wonder what hi feelings on Lucian are with Lucians obvious connection with William, the brother Marcus had a lot of compassion for.

Also, it'd be nice to see how Kraven was introduced and the deal he struck with Lucian in the ancient war.

RotL was hands down the best of the sieres so far. Followed by the first movie and then the last movie.

If they make another...which I hope they do...I REALLY hope it's another prequel. I prefer that to modern day.

Just curious. Why would you want another prequel instead of a continuation?

Don't you think TPTB could do more creatively with a continuation which is open-ended instead of a prequel which has to synch up with Underworld 1 at least?

They missed a couple of pretty damn important plot points in this movie when I think about it

Were was Lucian's branded skin on his arm for one, with the Viktor sign on it, that was pretty important in the first movie, no to mention Kraven's absense.

It's just about era preference. I prefer swords and armor over guns and modern day things. Seeing vampires all decked out in awesome armor, wielding their powers and swords was a lot more awesome to me than running around all Matrix-Like with guns.

but like I said...that's just preference. I know many prefer modern day.
