Thats a criticism? Really reaching there dark_b...

i think it was very cheap how they connected both movies at end. some footage+some dialoge and voila?
I thought so too. Cheap and lame. I wish they didn't do that. But it didn't stop the hour and a half before that from being awesome

it didnt hurt the movie . but i think it was really cheap. i was actually shocked. it looked like it was done 2 minutes before the premiere.

yea, i think it wasn't necesary to show the beginning of the first movie. ending it on viktor would have been good enough. it didnt' detract from the film...but it was an awkward choice...

If Viktor goes to sleep at the end.. I don't know at what point he kills Selene's family and turns her. There must be some gap in time here.

Maybe thats why he feeds on selene's family to regain more strengh...and at that time and what happeneds when he does go to Selene he can't bring himself to kill her as his just recently killed his own daughter...

Jut finally saw this, and really enjoyed it, better than the first movie, not surte about it being better than the 2nd yet, would need to see it again, but it tied up the story pretty nicely, although I thought Kraven should have been in it.

I have thought from when I first saw the 1st movie that Lucian is the best character of this series, and this 3rd movie only proved me right, he is by far the most interesting character in the series, and seeing his relationship with Sonja (the gorgeous, and for me, better looking than Beckinsale, Rhona Mitra) finally come to the screen was great. As was the return of Raze, Viktor and Tanis.

If they do another one, I hope its another prequel personally, more of Lucian would be no bad thing for this series.

Screen Gems is prepping a May 12 Blu-ray Disc release of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. This newest installment in the hit Kate Beckinsale fantasy-adventure franchise will arrive with a 1080p transfer, but audio specs and bonus features are still unconfirmed.

Groovy, I will buy that (no kidding, eh?).

They are going the TV route with it now, I believe.

Hopefully, it won't go on Spike, USA, or basic cable.

that seems a little quick?

The film ended its US run about three weeks ago on almost all screens, but it's a little soon.

did this movie make enough to warrant a sequel ?

Fourth Underworld Rumblings Begin
At yesterday's Underworld auction within the halls of Premiere Props, ShockTillYouDrop.com learned Screen Gems was pleased with the opening weekend numbers of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans and is happy with its overall performance (it has grossed nearly $50 million worldwide to date). DVD sales are sure to reinforce the prequel's success and so talks of a fourth chapter have begun, says our source at the weekend event.

When we pressed auction guest Patrick Tatopoulos, director of the third film, for more details he said he would be happy to return in some capacity, such as FX, but he would not return to direct.

A tv series has been discussed, but it's highly likely that Sony will make a fourth film. Involving Lucian and a sequel to the prequel or a sequel to Underworld Evolution.

i'll probly rent it on bluray, should look pretty
