They are a different interpretation on Vampires. They arent souless monsters looking for victims.

Not in this version, and that's what I like about it. It's more scientific than just having a bunch of mysticism.

I'd say they are my top two favorite characters.

1. Lucian & Raze (tied

2. Viktor

3. Markus

4. Selene

5. Markus

You know you have Markus, twice?

Mine:

1. Lucian
2. Viktor

by far. Them being the two leads of UW3 is a good thing, IMO.

3. Selene (Beckinsale, cold, beautiful, glowing blue eyes and tight leather, need I say more, good backstory as well)
4. Raze
5. Corvinus (great character, amazing actor, and totally underused)

Kraven has been the only really crappy character. Albeit, Michael is way too underdeveloped to be the "first hybrid" and supposedly the second lead.

5. Markus

1.Selene(just looks so damn hot in that leather)

2.Lucian

3.Raze

4.Mikel

5.Viktor

so the final battle will be sonja versus victor?

"It's a theatrical release definitely. I feel great about that. I think it's the strongest story that we've put together of the three. I think it's really terrific. I think it leads to a 4th. When we did the 1st Underworld, we imagined three--the 1st one, a sequel and then a prequel. The 3rd is a prequel, so the 4th would carry on where Kate and Scott Speedman left off after 2, so I think this is going to be terrific really this one."

That's really funny because Evolution felt alot like "Oh crap, stuff we established in the first movie really isn't where we wanted to go with this. Well, we'll just say that was all a consPiracy and move on."

Exclusive: No More Underworld for Kate?

ComingSoon.net/ShockTillYouDrop.com had a chance to sit down with actress Kate Beckinsale earlier today for a casual interview about Rod Lurie's upcoming drama Nothing but the Truth, featuring an amazing performance by Ms. Beckinsale that should turn a lot of heads.

We talked mostly about that movie and some of the other things she has coming up but eventually, our conversation got around to the "Underworld" series of which the trailer for the prequel Underworld: Rise of the Lycans recently debuted. After talking about her husband, director Len Wiseman's involvement as the co-writer and producer with that movie, we asked whether she would have interest in returning as Selene for another movie continuing her story. She did think they might continue the series beyond the upcoming prequel, but she wasn't sure if she'd continue doing them.

"I think they're still going, they probably will. I'm not sure I will," she told us. "I feel like I've played that character enough times that I don't think I'd be excited to play the same character again. It's a weird experience. I've never done that before, you're playing the same character in two movies, and after two, I feel like I'm kind of done with that."

Look for our full interview with Ms. Beckinsale including more on the Underworld prequel and what's going on with Whiteout over on ComingSoon.net sometime next month...

goddamn it!:cmad:

man, that makes it seem like evolution is the end of the series, and that movie leaves things just as open and unresolved as the end of the 1st movie. they should make a REALLY GOOD script and offer it to her as the last one. i love this series but what is a series without an ending??

i guess she talked to the producers and so since htey didnt want to recast they made a prequel.

That's not true. They always have planned to make a pequel after Evolution.
if its an interview when the first movei came out.
then i belive it.
if they said this after the prequel was greenlighted its a lie IMO.
