Don't need avg. Already have McAfee Total Protection, spybot, and malwarebytes. Have you heard of hitman pro which I mentioned in earlier post.

Got hitman pro! It found rootkit! And loads of tracking cookies from bad sites, silly bro, still looking at stuff! Here what I put on facebook...

Personally, I suggest MSE or Avast! Some of the better software I've seen, personally.

Wait, what? The shop didn't find it? Was it Best Buy? Rip off artists, IMO. Or something your brother did after you got it back?

Seem to be brother not caring what he does online...just a local shop..weird though...spybot wasn't working right when got back. Wasn't in add/remove, and it was on PC, just wouldn't load up, so installed it and it works.

Fast download and safe. I used google to find reviews. Fast DL...it scans..it finds anything you get the free version for a month.

OMG. So I ran a Hitman pro 3.5 scan cause I got up and PC was on...but screen was black and wouldn't turn on no matter what I did. Found another rootkit and tons of tracking cookies. Hard error pops up later on and I do a system restore back to when computer guys here fixed it. OMG Hard error screen of death. What do I do? Go back there? Go somewhere else? This PC is on a lifeline.

so I reinstalled hitman pro 3.5 and checked it history. Computer guys here used it to remove rootkit in master boot on nov 12th. I removed one each on 22nd and 23rd. Was trying to remove another, but hard error blue screen came on! I am seeing red...

It is in master boot sector 0..ugh.
