it WAS a pleasant surprise... an interesting story and a likeable actor portraying Bob Lee...
I thought it was a good first season, Phillipe, Cynthia Adai Robinson and Shantel VanSanten are all really good in their roles and easy to root for, and the action was pretty well shot, the way Quinn from Dexter got taken out was........![]()
http://deadline.com/2017/04/shooter...ty-jaina-lee-ortiz-recur-season-2-1202078623/Patrick Sabongui (Homeland), Troy Garity (Ballers) and Jaina Lee Ortiz (Rosewood) are set for recurring roles opposite Ryan Phillippe on the second season of USA Network’s breakout drama series Shooter.
Sabongui will play Yusuf Ali, a core member of Swagger’s (Phillippe) original Marine team. Garity is Jeffrey Denning, a seasoned investigative journalist who cares deeply about justice being served. Ortiz will play Angela Tio, a Marine and part of Bob Lee’s former unit. Tio holds her own with the guys and is one of the few people who knows Bob Lee well enough to keep him grounded.

I just started watching Rosewood Season 1 on Netflix. She is quite a beauty.

I know the first season had to be postponed due to real life events but I didn't realize season 2 was coming this soon. I was watching the trailer and thinking they had a surprising amount of new footage, only for the July 18th date to pop up, positioning it as a summer show is a good idea IMO.
This looks like a pretty fresh, intriguing and exciting new story, not sure how connected it will be to the first season, I also wonder if it's based off any of the books.
EXCLUSIVE: The current second season of USA Networks drama series Shooter will consist of eight episodes instead of the originally ordered ten.
The trim stems from the off-set injury suffered by series star Ryan Phillippe who broke his leg on July 16. At the time, Shooter was in the midst of filming the ninth episode of its 10-episode second season. While production went on for a bit without Phillippe, it has since been shut down. And USA, along with the series producing companies Paramount TV and Universal Cable Prods., have since made a decision to only air the completed episodes, with Episode 8 serving as a Season 2 finale.
Our priority is Ryans recovery, and after conversations with our partners at USA and UCP weve decided that we will wrap S2 with episode 208, Paramount TV said in a statement to Deadline.
Sources said that there is a natural story point in episode 208 that works as a season finale, and, while this was not the original plan, the producers, network and studio are happy with the way the Season 2 story would wrap.
