Damn the glare on that photo in Hollis' place. However, you can tell that that's definitely Silhouette on the left side of the photo.

From left to right - Silhouette, Moth Man, MAYBE Captain Metropolis (probably Nite Owl), then Comedian, then glare!

This leaves all the Minutemen but Hooded Justice and Captain Metropolis confirmed, but there's a good chance Sally and HJ are on the right side of that photo, as they were pretend boyfriend/girlfriend. I don't see them including Ms. "I have one line" Silhouette and not including HJ and his boyfriend...that would be beyond comprehension.

I'm into the austerity of Blake's apartment, with just enough Easter eggs to betray a lot about Blake's character: portrait of Silk Spectre; exotic, phallic statue next to the TV; pistol with silencer on top of a Hustler magazine on the coffee table; the gun porn to his right. And that thick, corduroy robe is pretty hilarious. I dig on the kitchy-bachelor vibe.

They're just nailing this. In every way they need to, they are being faithful, and where they aren't, they are simply elevating the material and it's relevance (Blake's apartment, some elements of New York).

I am so freakin' stoked for this film; I have to admit, though, it's one of those films that's going to be either really, really good - or an ENORMOUS disappointment. There's just no middle ground with certain films, and this is one of them.

I believe you're right about that. Or at least to the fans.
Furthermore, the visuals and the whole angle on it appears to be spot on, but if they don't get it it'll feel like a huge waste of effort and it'll be an even bigger disappointment.

It's this kind of attention to detail that shows me that this production team "gets it". Even the elements they've added have relevant significance.
