Jesus H Christ.
When is it going to end? lol
When are people going to stop talking out of their asses complaining about movie posters because "they epected more from professionals".
Well, it's because your in a site with alot of people who do get paid to do Graphics, or have a heavy background in Art & Design. We are critical when we see something that looks like a Rookie mistake, that some studio wrote off on.
i dont even mind that we've seen the background before, and the characters images separately. its just that they're so poorly composed. the design is just....i dont know how anyone ever thought that was a good idea, yet alone enough people to approve of it.
That's the problem, what you and others see as a "rookie mistake" is actually in the mature and real world...difference of opinion for the most part.
Yes most fans can hate it because it's not what they wanted from a final Watchmen movie poster(like in my previous post, just be glad when it came to the individual character posters they actually made them unique as opposed to most of the other films who have done that), but it's still funny because you see people with comments like "I expected more from a professional". Really, the way I see it is they chose to go this route with it and it wasn't what the fan wanted so the fan/s decide to knock the person who designed the poster saying they're unprofessional when it really comes down to a difference of opinoin.
i get what your saying about peoples knee jerk reactions resulting in criticisms that are not constructive. but judging the poster constructively, its not so much a matter of differing opinions, as much as its the designer just made poor artistic choices, ones that go beyond the realm of opinion. its just a very poorly composed and designed image.
lol QFT just like fashion designer's they think they know 'fashion' yet nobody in the REAL world wheres that crapActually no it doesn't. How can it go beyond the realm of opinion as fact?
Look at some of the art out there that people consider "high art", to me and alot of other people who don't have our noses in the air or heads up are asses alot of time that "high art" looks like a little kid threw paint on a canvas.
Well, I'll wait to see your response to mine directed at your first post. I don't think you saw that before you typed this current one.
