The more and more I see of this, the better it looks, though Danny Woodburn as Big Figure still seems a tad odd.

They even represented all of the various costume changes of the main characters (though there were no pics of Dan or Kovacs visible)

Video Blogs ftw!

With the site having been down last night, I thought for sure it was the video blog setting the boards afire... but maybe not, heh. Anyway.


I really enjoyed the concept art shots. Particularly seeing more of Ozymandias' costume; I think the purple they chose for his cape is great. A royal purple rather than the almost magenta of the GN, I think, suits him much better.

Considering just how accurate that concept art was, and just how photoshopped the promotional pictures were does anybody think that Ozzy's suit is gonna have that purple tint to it that it did in those concept sheets? Either way, I've been totally sold on what they did with him. I think it's gonna work perfectly between his super suit and his flashy dress cloths to move from Veidt the smartest man in the world to Veidt the megalomaniac (now I just need to be sold on the kid playing him, but that shot of him in the purple suit is helping a lot right now).

They really are. I don't need all this Dark Knight viral crap turning nerds into ****es of advertising. Just give me a nice little video blog with some tidbits, let me get a taste for the creative approach to the movie and let the team heads guide you through it. So much more civilized.

Advertisement sucks, but it's a damn good tool.

But we probably will get some viral marketing or at least they're gonna play us on the whole "Who Watches The Watchmen"-thing.
It's inevitable.
