I have a .mkv video file that I want to burn onto Bluray, however my burn software (Cyber Link Power Producer) doesn't recognise .mkv. Anyone know of a free program that can either recognise .mkv or convert it to a mpeg, mp4, avi, or wmv for burning a Bluray. Many thanks.

Use mkv2vob (free software) to convert it to an mpeg file without losing ANY quality, the file size is exactly the same, you will see no loss in quality. :) http://www.videohelp.com/tools/mkv2vob

I'm not sure about finding a program that can burn to blu-ray though...
