And they also said that apparently [BLACKOUT]Nite Owl has a grappling hook and not Rorshach so he climbs around on drainpipes in the game[/BLACKOUT] which I thought was...odd...

Yes. Rorschach scratched or burned it into the handle AFTER he got it.

Ahhh, ok. That makes much more sense why Nite Owl has one in the first half of the game and not Rorshach.

its just a money thing cause what else can they really make to market their R rated super hero movie other than posters, Action figures, and a video game. I mean go to a target see how many items spider-man and batman are on it ranges from shoes, footballs,fruit snacks, Mac'n'Cheese, notebooks, video games+ toys and what ever else they can slap their image on. its just about money. its the only market they can really pursue with this property. thats probably why they decided to make it downloadable instead of releasing a 60 dollar video game. this wouldn't sell very well I mean there are comic characters more well known than Watchmen that haven't even been featured in some video games, because they wouldn't sell. this is the only way they can milk this.

Here's a crazy idea...

Nite Owl, being a character based on The Blue Beetle who had a grappling hook pistol...had one.

He also made one for Rorschach.

It's really not that big a deal. Clearly Nite Owl has one and Rorschach doesn't so they have some "differences" in character during the game.
