Vince Vaughn in....Triple Time

So Vaughn actually doing non-comedy again? Interested.

 

The last really non-comedy he did was Mr. and Mrs. Smith where he was really the comic relief.

The plot itself isn't exactly original, how many times have we seen that plot exploited? Gauntlet with Clint Eastwood. 16 Blocks with Bruce Willis. In terms of a buddy action comedy, Bulletproof with Keenan Ivory Wayans and Adam Sandler. Cop transports a prisoner or something and things start going bad and cop is forced to team up with his captive who knows too much or something of that nature.

FYI, Peter Billingsley is the kid from A Christmas Story and he made his directing debut with Couples Retreat. He's been producer on a lot of Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau's movies including Iron Man.
