See what you can do with this:

104 116 116 112 58 47 47 55 54 46 49 50 46 52 56 46 49 49 50 47 104
102 105 108 101 115 47

For the lazy, the posters at watchmencomicmovie.com have already solved it. You can find the answer if you know where to look.

"It's a sled. It's his sled from when he was a kid. There, I just saved you two boobless hours."

Ahhh but Citizen Kane is so much more than a mere 'two boobless hours'.

:word:

Where does Ramses II figure in? Or is all there is to find truly all there is to find?

I have "translated" it

Apparently I know the truth. I just wish I knew what it was I supposedly know.....

Where did this come from, Plissken?

EDIT: Nevermind. I did some research, looks like the work of a ninja.

I made good friends with a man name Paul Schou during the TDK virals. He's always the first guy I go to when I need something translated. You might want to look him up.

Gee! A website just like the ones in 1985!

I feel sorry for the poor souls who actually spent precious minutes of their life trying to figure this out. So I cheated.

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out, after I peeked. And it's really quite simple.

But in the Latin alphabet, Veidt starts with an "M"!

This isn't an official watchmen viral site, in case people didn't know.

I agree, the stuff we've been getting is sort of an extended-experience thing. Which is VERY cool, but not what TDK did, which was get people to work together to solve puzzles and discover a storyline that way. Instead, we're just being given the storyline.

Also, I know someone who worked on TDK's viral marketing, and he didn't mention any plans for a Watchmen viral, at least by that company. There are similar companies, but no doubt 42 Entertainment is the most renowned one.

This viral is being run by a company called the Picture Production Company, so we know 42E isn't involved. There's no telling how big this one will get, but it will most likely not be anywhere near TDK standards. We're getting some cool content so far, but nothing all that engrossing, but that might not be what they are going for.

Ah, cools. Yeah, the TDK viral was a monster - 18 months long. I don't think 42E had ever done one that big before.

Heck, I haven't gotten back in ARGs yet after that, it took so much out of me. :funny:

When you figure out the code, it leads to a webpage with some pictures for your desktop, I wouldn't spend too much time on it. It's nothing big at all.
