I never played Paper Mario for the N64. How does it rate to the gamecube and the wii paper mario games?

It's similar but different. Like how the Gamecube and Wii versions are the same but different. It's not hard to pick up and play, because its so familiar to the others but the control scheme is different. Thats about it really.

I still haven't managed to download Paper Mario.

I was wondering, all in all...I've bought four games from the VC.
Mario Kart, Gunstar Heroes, Donkey Kong Country 2, and F-Zero X.

How many do you own? If I had it my way, and I had the money to burn, I'd buy em all.

I got

NES: Kid Icarus, Excite Bike
SNES: Super Castlevania
GEN: Streets of Rage 2
TG16: R-Type, Splatterhouse, Bravoman, Shockman

Not interested in them, but when will we be able to convert our stars into much needed wii points? :[

Finally remembered to update the list. I removed the Confirmed Future Releases since I just got that from Wikipedia and I'll have more room for future additions.

I'll be waiting for Super Metroid next week. I just hope it plays well on the GC controller.

Man I wish they'd announce some good games that they are working on. How about an update on the whole Goldeneye/Perfect Dark fiasco? Anything but more random games I've never heard of before.

Thats one of the main games I wanted to get when i first heard about the VC. I cant wait for that. That, Paper Mario, and Super Mario RPG. Two out of 3 baby:up:

Just wondering, can Nintendo release Banjo Kazooie and Tooie on the VC? Those are two Rare-developed games Id love to see. Banjo Kazooie is one of the few games I owned that I think Id still consider buying on the VC.

And didnt Wave Race 64 just come out? You never heard of that?

I've heard of it and owned it, but I can honestly say that since getting rid of my Nintendo 64, Wave Race has not been on the top of my Really want to play again list.

I never owned it on my N64 but i remember it being fun. I would consider getting it for a good multiplayer at least. But then thats a toss-up between that and Star Fox 64 (even though i owned the latter).

Say, Star Fox is another SNES title id like to see.

But hey, whats the harm in trying out some of these games youve never heard of. As long you take a look at the IGN and Gamespot reviews of some of them, you might find some games you like.

Of course, I barely have time to play my regular Wii games so Im not going too crazy for moe VC games yet. Im trying to finish Super Paper Mario so i can finish Paper Mario 64 so i can have time to play Metroid Prime 3 when it comes out:csad:

I just honestly really want Goldeneye. That's why I want an update on it. They said a long time ago that they were looking into all options on how to bring it onto the VC and haven't said squat since.

For some odd reason I really don't want it to come out on Xbox Live. It just feels wrong. Especially when Microsoft hasn't done as much as mention it. So if they don't care enough to try and get it on XBL, then damnit they need to let Nintendo put it on the VC.

Grr damn legal trouble. I miss me some Goldeneye, and I don't want to buy an N64 just for it again.

Is there also some trouble with like EA or whoever own the 007 rights?

Im just going with the assumption that its never coming out. Though I would like to see some Perfect Dark, that would be cool to have.

Yeah, it's that Rare is owned by Microsoft and Activision owns the 007 rights. Which all to me is rediculous, the game is out and exists, just let Nintendo use it, no one else is.

Which also means that Perfect Dark probably won't make it's way onto VC either. Which sucks too.

ive only got two VC games mario 64 and mario kart 64...was thinking about paper mario but don't knoiw too much about it like if its actually any good.
