Virtual Console Update Thread

Does anyone else want them to update with Samurai Showdown(1,2 or 3) for the Neo Geo?

I'm crossing my fingers for a Samurai Showdown game. I played those more than Art of Fighting, World Heroes and Fatal Fury in the arcades.

I never cared for the Samurai Showdown games...I liked some of the other ones better, like World Heroes.

Operation Wolf seems like a random choice, I saw they added that this week. I remember that game in arcades...Such a strange choice.

Orange/yellow is standby.

The yellow/orange light is on when wii connect 24 is activated.
I only just got my wii online the past few weeks, and since then it's always been a red light, by turning it off from the remote or the console.

That's why its called Wii Connect24.

Super Metroid and Super Mario Bros.3 came out before MP3 and SMG so I'd expect the original Brawl and original Mario Kart to hit the VC prior to release.

Probably lose your internet connection when its red.

If you hold down the power button on the console when powering down it will go orange, then red, fully shutting down your machine and disconnecting you.

Have there been any articles or anything about big upcoming games? It seems like all the buzz around what games are coming out have died down since the days of Super Mario World and OoT.

That's what Nintendo needs to do is give us a decent list of games they are at least working on Geo.

There are still plenty of great classics they don't have up yet.

I want GameBoy/GBA games like the Metroid GameBoy series, Advance Wars 1&2, the Castlevania's, Zeldas. C'mon Nintendo, there's a gold mine there to exploit. Charge $3-4 each, you'll clean up.

I would definetly get a lot of those games. Especially the Zeldas.

I got bored of using the portable systems after awhile and stuck to just playing on the actual consoles. Out of all the Zelda games on gameboy, I've only played and beaten the first.

I got bored of using the portable systems after awhile and stuck to just playing on the actual consoles. Out of all the Zelda games on gameboy, I've only played and beaten the first.

Yeah, I don't like playing those games on portable systems, the only reason I wanted to keep my GameCube was for the Gameboy Player I had on it. There's plenty of Gameboy/DS games I'd like to play, but just don't want to play them on the tiny screen.
