I was inspired to create this from the Arcee thread.

Obviously there would be new Transformers in the sequels, probably many from the cartoons. My question is, would you rather see a lot of new voice actors (like the new movie) or would you like to see a lot of the old voice actors return? Personally, I'd be fine either way with it, as some of the new voice actors (like Hugo Weaving) did a good job. But would the producers want the old voice actors? I mean, let's face it, I don't think they'd be knocking on Judd Nelson's door for him to voice Hot Rod. His voice has aged, anyway. The only thing I'd really want is for Frank Welker to voice Soundwave. And as for Unicron's voice, since Orson Welles has passed on, who do you think would be a fitting choice for the role? James Earl Jones? Laurence Fishburne? John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones)?

What do you want to see?

The only original voice actor that I would want to see come back is Frank Welker. Doing the voice of Soundwave of course. I want them to avoid any A-Listers. I hope that Bay uses the same strategy he used when he casted the voices in the first film: actual voice actors and unknown actors.

Darius McCray(sp?) isn't unknown. But I liked that choice for Jazz and hope he returns for the sequel.

But regarding that question, I wouldn't know who would sound good to be a Transformer, Bay seems to know who fits who, but would be cool to hear Frank Welker...but I think his voice would suit more of Unicron.

"I want them to avoid any A-Listers" - Definetly agree w/ that statment. Otherwise I don't really care who does the voice work, per say.... Though of course Peter Cullen has to continue to do Optimus.
