WandaVision WandaVision General Discussion Thread

I just want a good/satisfying ending with this finale honestly and I don't even care anymore if we don't get all the answers, because I know we will eventually in the movies and I can be more than patient.

Disney/Marvel have already exceeded my expectations when it comes to what I was hoping to get from this show and I only want them to end it on a highnote so we call all go into Falcon and the Winter Soldier excited.

Just started the finale.

People had outside expectations that built up over weeks for cameos and other wider MCU appearances which didn’t happen so I can understand they’re disappointed with that. But the show on its own merits I think delivered a really good ending to this origin for Wanda and she is now a much more developed character in the MCU and the hints towards her future are really exciting to me. She is going to be a true powerhouse going forward and I can’t wait to see her alongside Strange learning more skills. I hope they have a strong link going forward.

Just watched the finale. This show is glorious. Top tier MCU material for me. Elizabeth Olsen finally getting the material she deserves. And the costume is just perfect. Wonder how the last scene will play out in Multiverse of Madness.
We waited so long for a SW costume but it was well worth it with what we got in the end. She looked stunning in it.

Agreed. I think what's crucial to understand is that at its core this show was always about Wanda and her grief. It was never supposed to be about mutants, or Mephisto, or Doctor Strange. When you look at this finale through that prism, I think it was pretty damn great, actually.

Yes even Vision was a supporting character. Taken as solely a Wanda backstory it’s quite excellent IMO.

I find it hard to believe we won't see Monica before CM2, which comes out in November 2022.

future appearances that were confirmed by feige so far is monica and ms. marvel to be in captain marvel 2 and wanda will be in DS2. that's it from this show.

Now that the series is over it’s time to rate it. I’ll give it an 8 out of 10. Started slowly but picked up steam and had a good second half.

It was good overall and definitely had some shadows of greatness throughout.

Captain Marvel 2 though will be released in November 2022. That's too far away for her next appearance in the MCU. Dr. Strange 2 will be in theaters a year from now and currently shooting. Captain Marvel 2 hasn't shot yet. That's why Monica could appear before then in either Ms. Marvel or Secret Invasion

i think 8/10 is fair. i think if the world "multiverse" didn't exist in the MCU, then it may be 9/10. i think this show will hold up well and i think it will be great for binge viewing.

oh yeah. i'm just saying what's been confirmed.

Sure. But to expect her next appearance to not be until November 2022 would be unexpected from Marvel for a new superhero. If she had already been established in the MCU already, a wait for that long would not be unusual. She'll pop up in a few MCU things before November 2022.

I got an 8/10 for the show. I have much higher expectations for Falcon and the Winter Soldier though.
