WandaVision WandaVision General Discussion Thread

Super excited for this on Friday. Anyone got any comic recommendations that would be a good way to prepare?

If you haven't purchased them yet, King's Vision series is on sale, along with a bunch of other Wanda & Vision related comic book product, on both Comixology and Amazon. You can buy the digital version of the Vision series on Amazon for a buck forty nine less then buying both graphic novels (Little Worse Than A Man & Little Better Than A Beast) separately on Comixology.

I'm liking this stylish, trippy, sitcom and mystery aspect of the show. I like the chemistry between Elizabeth and Paul as Wanda and Vision, you buy the romance and the genuine love for each other.

The comedy is the classic American TV sitcom. Look forward to seeing how this all plays out as we go through the decades. So far we covered the 50 & 60 era and I feel as we get closer to the modern era things will ramp up dramatically.

Just finished them both. The show’s definitely got its own charm (to which Lizzie especially is totally suited) and we’re getting some good setup. Look forward to when things really get going!

Eh. I'm not enjoying this especially the visual style. I feel like those 2 episodes could have easily been a 10 minute scene in a movie. Oh well 7 episodesto go.

Should have been a streaming movie imo.

Yeah, this is all totally unique for what is underneath a superhero show. I’m really enjoying it and looking forward to seeing the different decades as well as when the darker **** really hits the fan.

I really hope this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Debra Jo Rupp or Emma Caulfield. So good to see them on the screen again.
Which characters are they?

I think it is an okay show.
Olson and Bettany of course know the characters well and have great chemistry. The sets look good for the old timey stuff in the early eps. They did enough to keep interest with the mystery of what is going on.

Im debating continuing with this show until it’s completed. Ever since the creation of Netflix Originals I cannot stand watching week to week tv anymore.

very good first two episodes though
I feel ya

Judging by these first two episodes this series does feel like one you have to binge all at once to enjoy better and get more out of the story

Fantastic 2 episode premiere. This is so different and original, and I'm completely there for it. An absolute blast!
I disagree it's not different or original it's Doom Patrol done by Marvel only in a more PG manor.

I like it, you can tell Olsen and Bettany are having fun, but it's painfully clear that this is more of a binge show. I'm not going to wait until all the episodes are released to watch it because of spoilers, although there really isn't a whole lot of spoilery stuff in there yet compared to something like The Mandalorian. Still, I'm looking forward to a full series rewatch binge once all the episodes have been dropped.

Something tells me once the big picture plot gets more steam, it's be less of a binge need. Theory speculation is going to ramp up once we start finding out more, and I bet that'll keep us busy in between episodes.

Wandavision was interesting. You can definitely sense the inevitability of where things will go. It’s going to be interesting when **** hits the fan and Wanda realizes what’s *really* going on and why its going on. It may start out as a sitcom homage but eventually it will turn into a standard Marvel action/adventure show in the end, but how it gets there will be fascinating to watch. This show may be the one with the most ramifications for phase 4.

Yeah, such an interesting way to set this up and make it unique. It will make the action all the sweeter when it comes.
