Just learned, that it’ll be released in cinemas here - this could be a way to release the movies in the next months. Digital releases in countries where cinemas aren’t open and theatrical releases in other countries

This strategy would work only for low and medium budget movies, not for movies that cost $200 million or more to make.

Hoarding all the blockbusters and releasing them in a short time after it’s safer will them not give similar revenue.
From what we’ve heared there will be 30-40 major blockbusters in 2021.
I don’t know how the economy crisis hit you all, but I don’t have the money to go to cinemas every week next year...

Yeah, and it will take a long time till things begin to look normal, so going to Cinemas will still be a risky thing, even with vaccines as the effectivity of vaccines is reported to be only around 50 %.

So, I doubt many would be interested in making 4 / 5 rounds to movie theaters in a month.

I dont think what we were shown in that blink and you'll miss it reflection is all of it. Just a hint of it.

It looks like all of the witches have that same type of mouth, which takes away from the Grand High Witch unless she does look more monstrous at the meeting. Either way I doubt it'll be as nightmarish looking as the original makeup.

Based on everything we've seen, I think Anjelica Huston is safe as being the best Grand High Witch.

I guess zemeckis is treating these demons like a species so they have specific traits that they all share.

Honestly, if I didn't know this was made for theaters, the effects work would make me think they had made this directly for HBO Max.

I think it’s one of those cases where cheesy eighties practical effects still work better than modern generic CGI.

I loved it, it was very enjoyable.

The OG witches were A LOT scarier though, they make these new ones look "cute" in an ugly way. But still a very fun movie.
