I know right, the music the mood, it seems dead on to be a great film

i sure ****ing hope so. i hope he can handle a story of that scope and depth. he sure hasn't shown that yet. he did two really cool shallow action movies.

and let's keep in mind that the original dawn of the dead had a point and a message. and his version was a cool action movie with none of the substance. let's hope he has the sense to not do that here.

i have faith, but at the same time i don't want to expect too much. at the very least, it's going to look great. and if that's all it is and it makes people buy the book, then that's ok.

but i want the story to come across well in the film. can't wait =)

man that guys sucks with a camera lol

Next year i'll f**king make myself an iron man costume and build in a ****ing camera. Or maybe buy the predator costume and switch that shoulder thing with a camera.

And why hasn't anyone thought of this yet?

and don't forget to add that laser thing if a security guard askes you to take it off.

The message in Dawn of the Dead was certainly delivered to me, same with 300. I guess it's a matter of perception. They were both powerful experiences from a story standpoint as well as action. That said, I have absolute confidence in Snyder handling Watchmen.

As for the guy with the camera, I think he did the best he could without getting caught. Be grateful we saw anything, because that was tear-jerkingly beautiful...

Ahhhh I was there in that very panel and the footage was amazing. Although dont give that guy so much crap. I swear to you. The security there went up and down the aile with some night vison crap. Now how he got that footage, I have no idea. But at least it was something.

Either than that. The film from what I saw there looks to be an epic way to final bring a brillant graphic novel to life

What I hate about the footage is there's a good chance to see Nite-Owl and it cuts away.:cmad:

Actually its just him sitting down after Rorshach disses him and after that I think the only i remember is Dan and Laurie kiss with a background explosion./. Archie landing on Artic.

Dont remeber any other footage of nite owl

I hope we don't have to wait about a week or two before the movie comes out to see it like the chicago wizard world footage for The Dark Knight.

We probably will, but by that time it wont even be a big deal. Most of the stuff shown will probably make it's way into one of the trailers or TV spots, so that when we do see the comic-con footage it wont be anything new.

yeah, when the TDK footage came out I was excited but I had already seen enough to be content by that point. Any other cases where comiccon footage comes out earlier than the TDK time frame? Either way once the torrent starts it won't give up. They sold the hell out of TDK and batman is a household name. The watchmen on the other hand....so you can imagine the type of press it will get.

Just watched it, was amazing even though the camera got loopy.

Burn the Rick Roller. Burn him!!!

The best part is it should stop all the talk about the film being filmed entirely in slow motion.

QFT, that was beutiful. rorschach mask is great, loved that music.

The bootleg would've been perfect if he didn't move it so much. The quality was excellent, you can make out almost everything. At least he tried, and we got something.
