Watchmen Prequel?

Alan Moore is doing a sequel to his Watchmen, though. Why can't they just adapt that?

Moore aint writing a sequel to Watchmen.

He's still writing comics. Just not as prolificallly, LOEG:Century pt.1 gets released at the end of this month, actually.
