i liked the suspense and feared the worst for these characters . i expected more lines from wahlberg but phoenix really stole the show . duvall's performance was good as always . eva mendes is smoking hot and she did a god job here as well. the scene in the crackhouse was intense and so was the one in the rain . good crime drama

Phoenix impressed me as always along with a great supporting cast and good tension moments in the film, but the pacing of this film could have been much better.

But i enjoyed it well enough.

I haven't seen it yet, but I can only guess that if Chicago can win oscars anything can and this can't be worse than that movie

Best Picture is kind of a politics award the best movie of the year rarely wins, I think the tech awards are always good, and they normally do a good job with acting, but best picture always seems to be a skewed award.

Saw this last night finally and LOVED it. Phionex was awesome and just the whole cast...great GREAT movie and def one I recommend to to check out if you haven't yet.

I think everyone did a great job even Eva. Phionex and Duvall gave amazing performances and I think they deserve an oscar nom as well as best picture.

This movie was just start to finish great and I especially loved the very final scene it was really beautiful.
