I just saw this movie on DVD, anyone else seen it? Decent police drama-type flick, thought it was pretty good with some particularly cool scenes, especially that car chase in the rain. IMO there were only 2 great things about the movie: (1) the family/character relationships, and (2) Joaquin Phoenix's performance. The man has so much acting talent it's ridiculous, why would he give that up?! Makes no sense, Phoenix should keep acting instead of singing. He was amazing in this movie, in fact I've been amazed by every performance of his so far ever since I first saw him in Gladiator. He should not deprive the world of his acting!
