Weakness

My sister-in-law believes in every "faith" cure that comes along. From healing Crystals to Goji Juice (she's really pushing the Goji Juice = Cancer cure angle). When I told her that I wasn't willing to put faith into a product that didn't have proper studies done on it, her response was along the lines of "doctors don't want you to have a cure because then they wouldn't be funded anymore"

why no.
Understand that I can tolerate most people from YEARS of having to deal with people while in the Coast Guard.

My problem is when I meet one of those:

"Nobody deserves to die,.. but some folk need killing" canidates. Folk who I KNOW the world would be a better place w/o them if they couldn't be bothered to tweak their interaction with the world just enough so they can get along.

These guys have YET to get their wake up call because folk around them protect them from themselves.:word:

Sigh.

Stupid people are everywhere. They're almost impossible to avoid. Sorry I had to be the one to tell you.

I find it mildly interesting that you keep saying that when EVERYONE ELSE on this thread are way past my initial thread and going on into advice.

everything you say is confusingly, poetically, and unnervingly vague.

i'm not trying to be a jerk- i just genuinely have no idea what, specifcally, you are talking about.

If it works for her,.. it is either the power of positive thinking or something Medical science will "discover" in another decade or so.

IMPO u don't try this faith cure stuff unless conventional science has failed and what you try makes sense to someone you trust with no stake in the outcome.

I've thought about it,....

I'm pretty sure "Location" had something to do with it.

Mesa Arizona,.... I seemed to meet an awefull lot of rude folk there in addition to this,.... this,... person.
I agree with m'sd. What exactly happened?

Imagine being weak in relation to your understanding of the world.

To where it has to be your way or it didn't happen, doesn't happen, could not have occured until you arrived on the scene.

You mask everything in the context that you thought of it first, you believe that if you hadn't and neither had anyone else that you would have sooner or later.

Anything after the fact where you have said that the world is the way it is will be suspect and naturally in error since you had it right the first time.

All your opinions are in stone as far as people, place, and thing, to a point where your nose has to be rubbed into it before you consider that you need to change your opinion.

.

I met that person this weekend,... and it took everything I was to not lash out at the sheer arrogance involved with how this person saw the world.

So, you met my dad? :oldrazz:
