So there you are minding your own business one day, when suddenly, out of the blue, you are approached by a man who had intimate knowledge of you and your life, your dreams, aspirations and goals. He says he can make it all happen for you, give you anything you want. You say "Prove it." and like magic (it might just be magic in fact) a brand new Ferrari shows up. Just for you. You're convinced. Whoever this dude is, he has the power to fulfill your every wish and desire. But there's a catch.

You have to kill someone. He takes you in your new car to park where he points out a perfectly ordinary man. Without telling you why or how he informs you that you have to take his life. You will incur no repercussions. No arrest. No bad karma. But everything you could ever ask for in return.

Do you do it?

Um...I'd be paranoid, because its probably the devil.

Which means there's probably a god and a heaven and a hell, so I probably wouldn't.

But that aside...totally would.

i wouldn't. thats totally against what i believe, and i wouldn't want everything i want just handed to me. it would feel the same.

I'd most likely do it.

I'm stuck in a rut and need some assistance getting out!

i probably wouldn't. it sounds too good to be true.

Would I still keep the Ferrari anyways?

I once had this dream when I was ... in my dream. I was standing in front of a ATM and checking to see what my bank balance was. It was 2000. Weird. I never have that much money in my account. Anyway, a man came up to me and led me to his car. I got in. Then the guy said, "I'll give you 10 hundred million dollars if you kill this guy..." and I looked at him as if he was on crack.

Like Ronny Shade said, it would probably be the devil. But **** it, I would do it.

I wouldn't even think about doing it for a second. There's no way that I have the right to end someone else's life for the selfish purpose of making myself feel better.

But it would be fun!!

No, I'd tell him to go back to hell where he belongs, and take the Ferrari with him.

Depends on who I am killing.

I take religion (like if this is the devil) out of the equation since I am not religous.

Yeah sure...but, what if what I want is to die with a clear conscious.

There was an old Twilight Zone where a man came in to a shop with a box with a button. He told the shopkeeper that he'd give him a million dollars if he pressed the button but he warned him that someone he didn't know would die when he pressed it. He argued that people die all the time and that he wouldn't really be murdering anyone. He would get the million and he could live out the rest of his life in comfort.

Well the man thought about it and concluded that he would press the button because it wasn't anyone he knew anyway. The button was pushed. The man gave him a million dollars and he grabbed the box and was about to leave when the shopkeeper asked him a question.

"What are you going to do now?"

"I'm going to give someone else a chance to press the button."

"Someone else?"

"Don't worry. It will be someone you don't know."

:thing: :doom: :thing:

A creepy (yet sadly true) depiction of human selfishness at its core.
