My oldest son got the Ironhide toy from Burger King and he's been having a blast with it which is a shame since now I want it. To top it off, he took it to NY with him when he went to visit his grandmother and then he left it there. Luckily, we'll be seeing her in a few weeks, so we should be getting it back.

Ironhide was my favorite character from the G1 cartoon. I was ticked off when he died in the 86 movie. I liked him in this film but, was it really that hard for the creative team behind this movie to get his voice right. This was a deviation from the G1 source made simply for the sake of change. It's unnecessary and there's no excuse for it.

The reason behind Ironhide voice not sounding like he did in G1 is because his voice wasn't done by Peter Cullen (OPTIMUS PRIME) . Instead a new voice actor voiced Ironhide's voice in the movie Jess Harnell (in the film) , Mark Ryan (in the video game ) .

Although IronHide didn't look like the cartoon version (which is reasonable), I'm really glad he still maintained that western like style; the Clint Eastwood quote was pricesless for his role.t:

Ironhide was awesome. He likes showing his cannons and apparantly wants to be Eastwood. He doesn't like being lubricated on and has a fear of rusiting. Also he finds parents irritating.

He also was an awesome fighter. He VS Brawl was quality...and the fear in his voice when he noticed Starscream. His voice was a little weedy and British...not as good as Cullen's job but it was adequate.

Ironhide was great: 7/10!!

I love the scene in the final battle with Ironhide when he transforms, flips forward, and dodges 4 of Brawl's missiles while doing a helix twist at the same time.

That was a kick ass scene, I love that bay had that scene in slow motion .

I liked how he blasted himself upwards before the second volley came at him.

Those scene's were just TOO cool, Ironhide was great in this movie and i loved the Dirty Harry quote.t:

God, come to think of it, ALL of the Autobots were GREAT in the movie, my only problem with them was we didnt get enough of them!

Seems they were going to give Ironhide a mouth cover thingy like optimus' but i guess they changed their minds, shame he looks good with it.
