Yeah, i noticed a few new things on the DVD, like the fact that Ratchett is a lot more awesome than i originally thought, and it took both him and Ironhide to deal with Starscream, awesome.

I'm somewhat going through a withdrawal, I haven't watched the DVD in a little while. But I will perhaps this week sometime.

^Hopefully, in fact, i hope we see more of all of them, with maybe Ultra Magnus introduced as well.

And hopefully Ironhide will get to do some hand to hand combat in the sequel as well, with him being the oldest TF, he must be very profficient with both types of combat.

I want to see him get some new weapons & kick some more ass in the next movie. And thanks for the info, I didn't know he was the oldest TF. Btw, why is Optimus Prime the leader of the Autobots? My knowledge of TF is dangerously lacking.

As far as i know, and i could be wrong, but Prime is the leader of the Autobots simply because the Matrix of Leadership was passed to him when the previous leader died. I dont think age, etc has anything to with it, just whether you are chosen or not.

And yeah i want to see Ironhide kick more ass in TF2, it dissapointed me a bit that both him and Ratchet couldnt handle Starscream together, so i hope they show a bit more of his badassness in the sequel.

I think that all of the Autobots were either holding back in the first movie or just weren't made that powerful. It's my opinion that everytime an Autobot is healed in the movie he should become a bit more powerful.

Well, i think it is made clear the Autobots are holding back at least a little bit in the end battle, Ironhide taking such care to avoid crushing any humans is evidence of that, but still, Starscream is pretty powerful, and he was bigger than both Ironhide and Ratchet, so it was probably right that they couldnt handle him together.

Ultra Magnus is reall the perfect person to fight Starscream.

I think we will see more of him, he may become the new lieutenant if Jazz doesnt return, who knows.

Something i only noticed for the first time tonight as well, when Ironhide and Ratchet are running with Sam, and Blackout lands and starts shooting, Ironhide picks up a car and uses it as a shield , awesome. Though the blast still knocks him off his feet.

^I think they will all have more of a chance to fight in the sequel, IMO they will ramp the action up ten fold, i just hope they dont sacrifice character and emotion in doing so.

If Ironhide dies, I'll really be pissed. I want to see him using even better weapons. In fact, I think he should get into some type of battle early on in the movie, get injured kind of badly, & then get some kind of upgrade that gives him better weaponry.

LOL i didnt mean sacrifice A character, just meant i hope they dont sacrifice character moments in general in the sequel for the sake of more action.

But Ironhide was able to take a ****load of damage in the first movie without being seriously injured, and i thought his weapons were cool as they were, so i hope they keep him the same.

I still love the bit were he uses a car as a shield against Blackout.

One of the coolest scenes was when he was in slow motion & was trying not to land on that girl, who, was very hot.

Ironhide is my favourite right after Jazz, of course. Both of them should have had a lot more action scenes. They were the best fighters other than Prime, but that should go without saying.
