I'm trying to brainstorm some decently paying weekend jobs, maybe that I can pick up say 6-10 hours doing on the weekends. I have a good 40 hour a week job with solid pay, so I don't really need it, but I make only a few grand more than a typical teacher, so I don't have a lot of extra money. Plus I'm quitting my current second job (for a variety of reasons), but not until I have something new lined up.

So any ideas, besides Bouncer (because even though it's an offer on the table, I've done it once and it's a hassle)...

you can make money as a homeless man or with prostitution, you choose...or...they.. will.

I'd say department store Santa or maybe Wal-Mart.

work at the mall? but from what I been hearing, hiring not really a big thing this year

I think a 24 year old, 6'1", blond, buff Santa wouldn't fool too many youngsters.
Although it'd be funny to hear so many kids shout "I call bull****" at the same time.

I would sit in your lap. :wow:

How about a grocery or convenience store?
I've heard people do inventory for them some time for extra money, you just have to get up at the buttcrack of dawn to do it. Though it's worth looking into I think.

Newspaper route!

Hmm, I'm thinking you dismissed the prostitution idea too quickly.

Seriously though, have you ever thought about becoming a fitness trainer. It's not hard to get certified to do it (I've even done it, and I'm about as opposite of your description as possible while remaining in the same species). You will need to spend a bit of $$ a first to get the training done, but then it's a great part-time flexible job you can do until you're 40.

Secret Shopper. They get paid to evaluate their customer experiences at different businesses, and usually get reimbursed for their purchases. Never sign up with a company that charges you to get hired, though. They're scams, and a dime a dozen.
